Founded in August /92 as a non gorvenamental entity, with the
objective to congregate realizers , organizers, administrators, entities,
studious, groups and all those who are
interest in the development, maintainance and preservation and especially
in the popular arts , linked to the manisfetation in folklore and
craftwork.
Since 1995 structured,
started its divulgation, to attract members, and continues in a permanent
form.

Young People from Nine Countries Talk about Peace

Young people representative from nine
countries will be gathered in Santos, Brazil, next 7 to 10 August.
The World Young Volunteer’s Network for Culture of Peace will meet to
discuss viable initiatives for peace to the young audience. The Young
Volunteer’s Network is one of the well-successful projects promoted by
the Non-Governmental Organization Brazilian Association of Organizers
in Folk Festival and Craftwork - ABrasOFFA.
Until this month, young people from nine different nationalities
already confirmed their presence. They are: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile,
China, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Brazil. Each country will
have a moment to hold a folk audio-visual presentation and to offer
their typical food with tasting by selected audience.
The event will include the presentation of the Guri Project, Santos
Municipality, in the opening and closing and a craftwork fair by
regional artisans.
“All the programming will be dynamic and active. It’s a great
opportunity to students to know other cultures”, guarantees Helena
Lourenço, NGO ABrasOFFA’s president. The schools interested to
