"BRASIL FEST IN
FOLK"
Brazil Fest in Folk since
1998 comes working in a Festival Circuit "branched to ABrasOFFA- Ong.
In case of interest of your group, you may consult us for alonger
permanence. ·
Conditions for the
participation: Dancing
group or folkloric music from his original country in a total of 30
members, described in a list that
has to be sent to us, containing: names, birthday date, passpot number and
the specificfunction in the group. We don't accept mechanical music (
cassete ) ·
Necessary material for
the participation: Please remit by post, material bout the group as:
historical, posters, casseste, Cd, 5 colorful photos and 5 black and white
photo ( measuring 10 cms x 16cms ) as well the participation index-card
filled and signed by the Director, which one
must be solicited to ABrasOFFA- ONG. ·
Material solicited to
the groups: A ) Gifts - ( Verify in Exchange gifts ) B ) An official flag ( 2,00mts x 1,60 ) to be hoisted in the ceremony of Official Opening the event and subsequently offered to the " Folkloric Museum" C ) A small safe containing land from the participants'country to be used in the Peace Tree planting. D
) Historical about the performances to be presented ( a small account over
each dancing to be presented during the period of the event in numbering
of five or tem lines, written in English, spanish, french or portuguese ) ·
Our organisation
offers: A ) Lodgment for the groups, in a holiday camp in apartments for 4 or 8 people divided in : feminine and masculine parts. Only the components of the group are allowed to saty in the rooms designed to them. There is no possibility to lodge couples in the same room or let different people in the apartment of the group. B ) Breakfast, lunch and Dinner have exact schedule to be observed. C ) Transport from São Paulo ( Airport ) to the lodgment and vice- versa in the inttention to attend the official program. D ) Brazilian Red- Cross: Assists during 24 hours in the lodgment and spectacle area. Attetion. We reccomend a health issurance to the components of the groups but emphasize that the hospital -expenses are the responsability of the group. E
) The groups will be acommpanied since thearriva at the event, by na
element of ABrasOFFA-ONG ( defined as Delegate )
in the following languages: Spanisch, French, Englisch or
Portuguese. It depens on the languages above that the group chooses. ·
Official Program: 1 ) Etnographic Parade 2 ) Official Opening - Special Choreography and performances which last 5 minutes in the maximum. 3 ) Ecumenic Cult asnd Planting of the Peace Tree (Obligatory the presence of all groups) 4 ) Performances ( 05,10,15,20, 30,60 minutes ) to be defined by the organisation. 5 ) School Project- Performances ( 15/20 minutes ) for students ( we don't accept performances with any violent characteristics ) 6 ) District Dancing ( 15/20 minutes ) in the most distant places downtown ) 7 ) Street dancing- Rapid demonstrations in determined points as banks, squares. Etc in commercial area. 8
) Workshop Dancing- The Groups in a true interchange, teach dances and
learn dances from other countries too. ·
Necessary materials
for the exchanging gifts. A ) Official Visits - a couple in a typical dress followed y the director, change gifts as: ( Posters, pennants from their countries, CD's, tapes or small sourvenirs in the presence of authorities of your own town inlocal where the event is holding. About six authorities are presented. B ) Organization - Exchange of gifts among the event organizers. C ) Participants Groups - About twenty groups. Soon the participants' list will be sent. D
) Folkloric Museum- a doll- couple in typic dresses, divulgation material
about your own group and country, tape or CD, books, craftworks and na
official flag originating from your country. · Nation Night · Booking air tickets- Is fundamental the urgency in this behavior, even why doesn't exists any kind of costs or responsability, since the computers of the air companies cancel automatically those no concretized. Mainly in this period of the year it is very diffucult to get places in the flights to Brazil. · Exchange - To facilitate the exchange of money in our country, we advise you to bring American Dollar, International Credit cards, such as: American Express Card, Visa, Diners and Master. They are all accepted here in Brazil. · Embark tax - To leave our country is necessary topay in the airport, a tax about US$ 40, 00 per person, so be attentive in obeying this item because it belongs to the governamental rules here in Brazil. · Day- off In this day you are free in choosing: To rest or do any city tour. The organisation has several options , but it is necessary your solicitation in advance. · Accompanist: The participant of the groups are allowed ( objetivating a better relationship with the air company ) to join a touristic groups (acccompaning ) what depends on a solicitation to the organization in the proporsal to be certified about prices, lodgments , etc. what offered them a card of identification to allowed their entrance in the official- lodgment. However this don't give them the right to intefere in or consider themselves as elements of the group, but only as special guests. The daily rate is about US$40 per person, including complete meals per day. Important: The folk group that is in intetion to arrive here earlier the prescribed date or to saty after the closing of the event, have to inform beforehand,given us the necessary time tomake the reserves. It is fundamental to understand that the proporsal in arriving or departuring before or after the stipulated dates by the festival, are in directed responsability of the group. · Groups interested in participate: The solicitation have to be done through na E-mail or by post, annexing the material of divulgation, and expecting for the organization declaration. |
